The AIPPI World Congress 2024 took place in Hangzhou, China, from October 19 to 22. The event featured a dynamic opening ceremony with eminent speakers, including China’s Vice Premier Guodong Zhang, a cultural night with a light and dance performance at the West Lake and Hanghzhou’s well-lit skyline, and definitely women in IP at the Silk Museum. Knowledge sharing and learning through various committee meetings covering IP examination, drug discovery, AI, pharmaceutical trademarks, microbiome patenting, ADR, Biotechnology, Commercialisation of IP, Copyright, Designs, Development and IP, the Planning Committee, PCT, Patents, Trade Secrets, and Trademarks was insightful.
